NAB prepares another case of alleged misuse of telethon funds against Imran Khan
The anti-graft body claims the funds worth Rs4.32 billion were collected through this move but discrepancies were found in millions of rupees.


Islamabad: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday prepared another case against former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
The anti-graft body accused the PTI chairman of misusing the funds collected through telethone transmission. The NAB claimed that the funds worth Rs4.32 billion were collected through this move but discrepancies were found in millions of rupees.
According to the reports, the NAB headquarters received an application seeking inquiry into the said matter. The NAB Rawalpindi made the request to convert the application for inquiry into investigation.
The PTI chairman had already been facing cases including cipher, Al-Qadir Trust and May 9 riots, and he is behind the bars in Attock jail.
