Relations between Muslim countries of the region and Israel will be like stabbing the Palestinians in the back: Iranian President.

New York: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, speaking at a news conference during his attendance at the United Nations General Assembly, has accused Saudi Arabia of betraying the Palestinian cause by normalizing relations with Israel.
Raisi expressed concerns that Saudi Arabia was engaging in deceitful behavior aimed at normalizing relations with Israel.
He asserted that any attempt to establish relations between regional countries and the Zionist government if intended to bolster Israel's security, would ultimately fail. Such relations, in his view, would amount to a betrayal of the Palestinian people.
In contrast, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, during an interview with an American TV network, claimed that Iran was taking serious steps to restore relations with Saudi Arabia.
He acknowledged that progress was being made toward normalizing relations with Israel, stating that they were drawing closer with each passing day.
Regarding the Palestinian issue, Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized its importance to Saudi Arabia and expressed a commitment to resolving the problem.
He noted that while US-mediated negotiations might not be suspended, they were evaluating various approaches to finding a solution that would alleviate the challenges faced by Palestinians.
