Islamabad: Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Hussain Chaudhry on Tuesday has expressed joy after Pakistan cricket team defeated Zimbabwe by 147 runs in the two-match Test series, to complete a well-deserved whitewash.

On his official twitter handle, Federal Minister wrote, “Congratulations to Pakistan cricket team on winning the second series in a row”.
He further added that cricket unites all the people of Pakistan that’s why everyone is overjoyed after the clean victory.
“Thank you Babar Azam, and boys for filling our hearts with elation amidst coronavirus outbreak,” he added.
He concluded saying, we pray for the series of victory to continue.

Pakistan won the first Test against Zimbabwe by an innings and 116 runs.
The fourth day of the Test in Harare lasted just over 20 minutes as Pakistan, needing a single wicket, had Luke Jongwe caught by wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan to give Shaheen Shah Afridi his fifth wicket and Zimbabwe resumed at 220 for nine, were all out for 231.
Moreover, they beat South Africa 2-1 in one-day internationals and 3-1 in Twenty20 internationals before defeating Zimbabwe 2-1 in a T20 series.
Earlier, Pakistan enforced the follow on after bowling hosts Zimbabwe out for 132 on the third day of the second and final Test at Harare Sports Club on Sunday.
Pakistan had a first-innings led by 378.
It was the fourth successive series win for Pakistan on a southern Africa tour
Moreover, the national squad will arrive at Lahore’s Allam Iqbal International Airport on May 12 (tomorrow) at 10 am.
Pakistan travelled to South Africa in the last week of March where they played limited-overs formats. They left for Zimbabwe from Johannesburg where they played T20I and Test series.
It is pertinent to mention here that, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) gave special permission for the repatriation of the national team from Zimbabwe, one of the Category C countries listed due to prevailing COVID-19.
