Multan’s district admin seals two restaurants, 26 markets over SOP violation
Multan: The district administration of Multan has sealed two restaurants and 26 markets over violation of coronavirus Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
According to details, cases were registered against 21 people while six people were arrested.
Fines of over 200,000 were imposed for not following coronavirus SOPs.
Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.
Pakistan’s registered death toll from coronavirus infections rose towards 19,100 , but some data suggested the spread of the disease has been contained after a one-week national lockdown.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 3,084 cases of coronavirus were reported while 113 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 19,106.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 864,557.
