Hyderabad: Afghan fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq, who had earned a spot in Afghanistan's World Cup squad set to compete in India, has made a surprising announcement regarding his retirement from one-day cricket.
Naveen-ul-Haq, a 24-year-old fast bowler, recently returned to the international cricket scene after a hiatus of more than two years.
His decision to retire from one-day cricket after the World Cup has left many cricket enthusiasts and fans taken aback.
Taking to social media to convey his decision, Naveen-ul-Haq expressed his pride in representing his country.
However, he stated that he would be stepping away from one-day cricket while remaining available for selection in the T20 format.
