Pakistan’s total foreign reserves fall to $13.16bn
The commercial banks' net foreign reserves were $5,525.1 million.
Islamabad; The total liquid foreign reserves of Pakistan fell to US$ 13,161.8 million on Thursday, while reserves held by the central bank stood at $ 7,636.7 million.
According to the statement of State Bank of Pakistan, informed that SBP’s reserves decreased by 59 million to US$ 7,636.7 million on account of debt repayments during the week ended on September 22, 2023.
It also said that commercial banks' net foreign reserves were $5,525.1 million.
The nation's total liquid foreign reserves were US$ 13.186 billion as of the previous week, which ended on September 15, 2023.
Among them, the central bank held $7.695 billion in foreign reserves
