Conjunctivitis sufferers are scrambling for drops.


Lahore: The epidemic of conjunctivitis is increasing in Punjab. The number of people affected by the eye disease in the province has reached close to 1,00,000.
According to details, Health department said that after conjunctivitis infection, eye drops and rose water have become rare in most cities.

In this regard, the owners of medical store said that the supply and demand are not parallel to each other.
It is pertinent to note that due to the outbreak of conjunctivitis, schools across Punjab will remain closed till Monday.
Two days ago, the Department of Schools Education Punjab had issued a notification to keep schools closed on Thursday and Saturday.
