California: A transatlantic production company has revealed plans to create a cinematic adaptation of the ill-fated journey of the Oceangate submarine, known as the "Titanic Submarine,"

The submarine was plunged beneath the ocean's depths to explore the wreckage of the iconic Titanic.

Renowned filmmaker Brian Dobbins, acclaimed for his works like 'The Blackening' and 'Black-ish,' will helm this ambitious project.

The film is set to bear the same title as the preceding documentary series produced by Mindright Entertainment, which was named 'Salvage' and focused on the narrative of former Oceangate mission director Kyle Bingham.

Brian Dobbins will serve as the producer, while the screenplay will be crafted by Justin McGregor and Jonathan Casey.

In addition to recounting the gripping story of the submarine's tragic journey, the film will also delve into the lives of the passengers aboard the Ocean Gate before embarking on their underwater expedition.

The ill-fated submarine carried five passengers, including two Pakistanis, who ventured on a subaquatic voyage to witness the haunting remnants of the Titanic.

This cinematic endeavor marks the first-ever attempt to bring the Titan submarine incident to the silver screen.

Speculations of such a film emerged just a month after the Titan submarine incident occurred on June 19.

Notably, acclaimed Hollywood director James Cameron, known for his blockbuster hit 'Titanic,' has firmly denied any involvement in the production, dispelling rumors of his association with a film on the Ocean Gate submarine.
