Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Wednesday congratulated the farmers and government of Punjab on the highest production of 20 million metric tons of wheat in history.

On his official twitter handle, the minister shared the news and wrote, “The agricultural economy had grown by Rs 1,100 billion”.
He further added, “This historic development was made possible despite the outbreak of coronavirus outbreak”.
The minister praised farmers of Punjab and remarked, “This development gives an idea of the potential of Pakistan’s agricultural sector”.
