Congo virus claims another life
The death toll has reached 14 this year.
Quetta: Another patient battling the Congo virus has succumbed to the illness, raising the year's death toll to 14.
The latest victim, identified as 35-year-old Ali Muhammad, was receiving treatment at Fatima Jinnah Hospital in Quetta.
Tragically, Ali Muhammad's condition deteriorated rapidly, resulting in his passing.
This unfortunate event marks the 14th fatality attributed to the Congo virus in the current year.
According to the administration at Fatima Jinnah Hospital, two patients diagnosed with the Congo virus were admitted for treatment.
Among them were Ali Muhammad, the 35-year-old from Quetta, and 20-year-old Raz Muhammad, also hailing from the same region.
Regrettably, Ali Muhammad's battle with the virus reached a fatal conclusion.
