According to the seismological center, the depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometer. While, the epicenter was 28 kilometer from the city of Herat in Afghanistan.
On the other hand, the death toll from the earthquake that occurred in Afghanistan four days ago has exceeded 3,000, while more than 9,000 people have been injured.
According to the spokesman of the Afghan Disaster Management Authority, 2,000 houses have been completely destroyed by the earthquake in Herat province, while relief operations are ongoing in the earthquake-affected areas.
