Hamas launches rocket attack on Israeli city Ashkelon
The attacks were made in response to the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Ashkelon: Hamas, the Palestinian resistance movement, has launched a rocket attack on the Israeli city of Ashkelon.
The conflict in the region shows no sign of abating, with both sides continuing to exchange fire.
The al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas have also claimed responsibility for targeting Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport with missiles, further intensifying the situation.
Over the past four days, the death toll among Israelis from Hamas attacks has surged past 1,100.
In addition to the attacks from Gaza and Lebanon, missile strikes on Israel have now begun from Syria.
In a significant development, the Israeli representative at the United Nations has confirmed that 100 to 150 Israeli hostages are being held in Gaza by Hamas.
Hamas has issued a stark warning to Israel, stating that unless the bombing of Gaza ceases, they will begin to execute these hostages one by one.
The situation in the Middle East continues to draw international attention and concern.
The Houthi rebels in Yemen have declared Gaza a "red line" and pledged their support to Hamas and the al-Qassam Brigades.
Furthermore, they have warned the United States that any interference in Gaza will be met with a swift response involving drones and missiles.
In a parallel move, American President Joe Biden has likened Hamas to ISIS and has asserted that Israel has the right and duty to respond to the ongoing attacks.
The conflict remains a volatile and deeply entrenched issue with no clear resolution in sight.
