PCB sources have confirmed that Zaka Ashraf has already been granted an Indian visa, and his departure to India is anticipated within the next one to two days.
Sources suggest that he plans to watch the Pakistan-India match in Ahmedabad.
In a related development, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee, Zaka Ashraf's efforts have proven successful.
The Indian Embassy has initiated contact with Pakistani journalists to facilitate their World Cup visa applications.
Pakistani journalists have been instructed by the Indian Embassy to promptly submit their passports for the visa process.
