Caretaker energy minister departs for Russia to attend Energy Week
Sources have indicated that discussions regarding LNG imports from Russia are also on the agenda.
Moscow: Caretaker Energy Minister Muhammad Ali embarked on a three-day trip to Russia to partake in Energy Week, where discussions regarding LNG imports from Russia are also scheduled.
Caretaker Energy Minister Muhammad Ali has left for Russia on a three-day visit to participate in Energy Week, an event taking place in Moscow from October 11 to 13.
The Energy Minister will actively engage in the Energy Week's activities.
Petroleum Secretary Momin Agha is accompanying the Energy Minister on the trip, and officials from PSO and ISGS are also part of the Pakistani delegation.
Sources indicate that during the visit, discussions on a long-term crude oil agreement with Russia are anticipated, and Russian authorities will also address matters related to the construction of the Pakistan Stream gas pipeline and LNG imports.
