Aamir Khan unveils 'Sitare Zameen Par,' a Joyful sequel to 'Taare Zameen Par'
The actor shares that the new movie promises to take audiences on a joyful journey, quite distinct from the emotional tone of the previous film.

Mumbai: Renowned Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has unveiled his upcoming project in which he will not only star but also take on a producing role.
The film, titled 'Sitare Zameen Par,' is a sequel to the heartwarming 2007 hit 'Taare Zameen Par,' according to Aamir Khan. He shared that the new movie promises to take audiences on a joyful journey, quite distinct from the emotional tone of the previous film.
Aamir Khan, famous for his role in 'Lagaan,' mentioned that he had never publicly discussed the movie before, and he could not reveal much about it at this time, except for its title.
During an event, he expressed, "You must be aware of my movie 'Taare Zameen Par,' and the name is retained because the same concept will be taken ten steps further, and while 'Taare' was an emotional film, you'll find this one quite amusing."
He elaborated on the film's theme, noting that it retains the essence of the previous one: "We all have flaws, we all have weaknesses, but we all also have something special. In the last film, my character helps the character of the special child Ishaan. In 'Sitare Zameen Par,' those nine boys, who have their own issues, they help me. It's the opposite."
The reports indicated that Aamir Khan would not only be acting but also be producing 'Sitare Zameen Par.'
In addition to this project, Aamir revealed that he is producing three other films: 'Laapata Ladies,' directed by his former spouse Kiran Rao, another featuring his son Junaid Khan, and 'Lahore 1947,' directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Sunny Deol.
