The Balochistan minister declares the government's commitment to making Balochistan a corruption-free province.


Quetta: Balochistan Provincial Minister Jan Achakzai emphasized on Wednesday that those involved in corruption would face stringent measures to set an example.
The minister declared the government's commitment to making Balochistan a corruption-free province. He revealed that cases of land embezzlement by the government would be referred to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Achakzai also stated that the operation against electricity theft would continue, with approximately 85 percent of smuggling activities taking place via the sea. He added that the illegal transport of smuggled oil across the borders of Sindh and Punjab would be curtailed.
Furthermore, Achakzai highlighted the monitoring of madrassas and the removal of hateful content from the national curriculum. He also stressed the need for action against non-state actors involved in wrongdoing.
The provincial minister affirmed that efforts to address illegal immigration would be intensified, and the National Action Plan would be diligently implemented.
