Bihar: A horrifying train accident in the Indian state of Bihar has left four individuals dead and more than 100 passengers injured.

The incident occurred as the North East Express train, which had departed from Anand Vihar Terminus railway station in Delhi, was en route to Assam.

The derailment transpired near the Raghunathpur railway station in Buxar, Bihar, sending shockwaves through the hundreds of passengers on board.

Local authorities acted swiftly in response to the catastrophe.

Rescue teams were dispatched immediately upon receiving word of the accident, working to transport the injured and recover the deceased to nearby hospitals.
