Gaza: The toll of Palestinian lives claimed by the Israeli bombardment on Gaza has risen to 1,570, with the number of injured surging to over 7,200 individuals.
Devastation reigns as over 2,500 homes have been obliterated by the Israeli attacks, while more than 30,000 residences have sustained partial damage.
As the intensity of Israeli brutality forces Palestinians from their homes, the count of displaced individuals has reached 338,000.
Approximately 200,000 Palestinians have sought refuge in UN schools, while 100,000 have found shelter with relatives and within churches.
Hospitals in Gaza are grappling with shortages of beds and essential medical supplies, further compounded by the challenges of sustaining ventilator support amid power outages.
A BBC team visiting a Gaza hospital witnessed the heart-wrenching aftermath of Israeli bombardments, with injured friends and local residents in states of shock and despair.
Over the past six days, Israel has unleashed 6,000 bombs and dropped a staggering 4,000 tons of explosives on Gaza, leaving a tragic wake behind.
The grim tally of casualties now exceeds 1,400, including over 400 children and 250 women who have lost their lives as a result of Israeli attacks.
Tragically, more than fifty medical personnel have also been martyred.
Reports suggest that Israeli forces have caused damage to runways during attacks on Syria, impacting Damascus and Aleppo airports.
The situation remains dire, with no immediate respite in sight.
