Islamabad: Finance Minister Dr Shamshad Akhtar held a meeting with the top leadership of Deutsche Bank, on the sidelines of annual meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in Morocco on Friday.
The discussions were marked by a constructive exchange of ideas and insights, focusing on fostering economic cooperation and financial stability.
Both parties expressed their commitment to strengthening ties and highlighted the potential for mutually beneficial initiatives in the financial sector.
Meanwhile, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar also met her Iranian counterpart and discussed strengthening economic cooperation and exploring avenues for bilateral trade and investment.
Both Ministers expressed their commitment to further strengthen economic ties for advancing mutual interests.
Besides, the Finance Minister held a meeting with CEO Islamic Trade Finance Cooperation Hani Salem Sonbol.
During the meeting, they exchange views on strengthening economic cooperation, fostering trade, and advancing financial strategies.
