Shehbaz addresses rally, highlights Pakistan's development challenges"

Ferozwala: Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif asserted on Friday that Pakistan's journey of progress and development had come to a standstill due to rigged elections that brought a particular party to power.

Addressing a PML-N rally in Ferozwala, Shehbaz emphasized the consistent development and progress Pakistan experienced during his party's tenure.

He pointed out that there were conspiracies aimed at dividing Pakistan, with opponents of Nawaz Sharif introducing a new model that had created a toxic political environment.

Shehbaz expressed his belief in Nawaz Sharif's potential to lead the country towards progress, citing the remarkable achievements during Nawaz Sharif's previous terms as Prime Minister.

He stressed that bringing Nawaz Sharif back to power was crucial if the nation aimed to eradicate poverty and unemployment.

Shehbaz highlighted the historical context, noting Nawaz Sharif's ascent to the role of Prime Minister in 1990 and his removal during his second term through a coup d'état by General Pervez Musharraf.

During Nawaz Sharif's third term in 2013, the country faced severe power shortages, with up to 20 hours of load shedding. Shehbaz credited Nawaz Sharif's tireless efforts for resolving this issue and stabilizing the power supply.

He also acknowledged Nawaz Sharif's efforts in providing relief to flood-affected people by offering them shelter.

Shehbaz announced that Nawaz Sharif would return to Pakistan on October 21 and urged the public to gather at Minar-e-Pakistan for a PML-N rally to unite under Nawaz Sharif's leadership.

He reiterated the party's commitment to realizing Quaid's vision for Pakistan under Nawaz Sharif's leadership and promised that the former Prime Minister would distribute laptops to the youth.

In response to his critics, Shehbaz defended his government's 16-month performance, emphasizing that the PML-N had prioritized the welfare of the state over political gain, preventing a deterioration of the situation that could have occurred in the case of a default.

Shehbaz also expressed his concerns about the ongoing oppressions and brutalities in Palestine and Kashmir, calling for the people in both regions to be granted freedom.

He lamented the Israeli brutalities in Gaza against innocent Palestinians and urged an end to the bloodshed. Shehbaz also highlighted the dire situation in the Gaza Strip due to Israel's blockade, leaving its residents hungry and thirsty.
