Annually, the United States allocates over $3.8 billion in military assistance to Israel.

Washington: A senior official at the US State Department has tendered his resignation in protest against the country's unilateral provision of aid to Israel.
Josh Paul, who held the position of Director of Political-Military Affairs at the US Department of State, posted his resignation announcement on LinkedIn.
In his heartfelt message, Paul expressed his profound disagreement with the United States government's policy of consistently offering military aid to Israel.
Paul stressed that the government's approach mirrors past decades' errors, and he refuses to be complicit in such a trajectory.
It's worth noting that Joe Shippal has a background in arms transfers for the United States.
Furthermore, he emphasized that he could no longer endorse the supply of additional weapons to one side of the Middle Eastern conflict.
Josh Paul underscored the shared responsibility to identify grave human rights violations, lamenting the collective failure to do so.
The United States provides Israel with over $3.8 billion in military aid on an annual basis.
