According to details, Judge Muhammad Bashir delivered a reserved judgment on the reference regarding assets in excess of income against former Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
The accountability court said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) did not find evidence against Ishaq Dar.
Earlier, the NAB prosecutor took a stand in the court that there is no evidence of corruption against Ishaq Dar, the case cannot be pursued further.
Judge Muhammad Bashir stated that the NAB Prosecutor General should tell this is in writing. If there is no objection to the acquittal of Ishaq Dar and other accused, let him write it down. In future the NAB will say that they did not say anything like that.
It is pertinent to note that the accountability court had earlier filed a reference for assets in excess of income against Ishaq Dar. In the light of the Supreme Court's decision, the reference against Ishaq Dar was heard again.
