Report warns AI could amplify cyber attack risk
Technology may also be employed by terrorists to strategize and coordinate attacks.

London: A recent British government report has raised concerns that the widespread use of artificial intelligence (AI) may heighten the risk of cyber-attacks and undermine trust in online content by 2025.
The report also highlights the potential for AI to assist in the planning of biological or chemical attacks by malicious actors.
By 2025, generative AI could play a role in gathering intelligence related to physical assaults, including those involving chemical, biological, and radiological weaponry, according to the report.
Furthermore, the report suggests that AI might enhance the efficiency and scale of cyber attacks, potentially leading to more extensive and effective cyber threats by 2025.
