Hamas launches rocket attacks on Tel Aviv, Israeli cities
Hamas rocket strikes resulted in damage in multiple Israeli cities.
Gaza: Hamas, a Palestinian militant organization, has initiated rocket attacks targeting the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv, and several other cities.
This marks the first instance of Tel Aviv being struck by rockets from Hamas over three consecutive days.
Reports from Israeli media confirm that Tel Aviv, along with Jaffa and other urban centers, have sustained rocket attacks, causing considerable disruption.
Among the notable incidents, a rocket struck a high-voltage transmission line in the city of Rahufut, leading to a power outage.
In a separate incident, a rocket landed in the Israeli region of al-Kariyah, prompting the interruption of an Israeli military council meeting due to emergency sirens.
The military wing of Hamas, known as the Al-Qassam Brigades, issued a statement regarding these fresh rocket attacks.
They stated that these actions were a response to the bombing of Gaza's civilian population.
As the situation continues to escalate, reports have emerged suggesting that the Israeli army conducted another ground operation in the Gaza Strip.
According to an official statement released by the Israeli military, ground troops, accompanied by air support, carried out a limited operation in Al-Shujaiya late at night.
The statement further claimed that the operation successfully destroyed several Hamas bases.
