People have stopped the construction work due to the rising cost of building materials.

Lahore: In view of the recent inflation in Pakistan, the prices of all building material products have become sky rocketing high as the rates of cement, concrete, gravel and bricks are touching the sky.
People have stopped the construction work due to the rising cost of building materials. A bag of cement costs Rs1200, concrete is priced at Rs270 per kg, bricks are being sold at Rs15000 per thousand, gravel costs Rs125 per foot, and a trolley of sand has settled at Rs18000 in Pakistan.
Due to the halt of construction work after the material became expensive, the laborers are facing trouble. The masons also increased their wages due to the high costing building materials.
