Rawalpindi: Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench Monday ordered to de-seal Lal Haveli—the residence of former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.

According to details, Sheikh Rashid had filed an appeal in LHC Rawalpindi Bench against the decision to seal Lal Haveli. Responding to which the court ordered to de-seal the property.

While talking to the media on this occasion, Sheikh Rashid said that he definitely was in spiritual solitude but he is not a spirit who would have been present in three places, today Allah helped and opened Lal Haveli.

The former interior minister stated: “The solitude has made me a new Sheikh Rashid, no abuse has been committed. Even if I go to jail, I will contest elections from both the constituencies”.

Sheikh Rashid added that he is standing with armed forces of Pakistan, adding that ‘We are ethnic and original, and leave everything to Allah’.

It is important to note that the Rawalpindi Bench of LHC rejected the plea to de-seal Lal Haveli, but the court said that the current position of Lal Haveli will remain until the decision of the petition. The detailed case will be heard on October 19 and no one will get adjournment.
