PTI to field candidates in all constituencies across Pakistan: Hamid Khan
The PTI leader criticizes what he perceived as unequal treatment of the PTI compared to other political parties, which he claimed were enjoying greater freedom to conduct their political activities.
Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday announced its intention to nominate candidates in all constituencies across the country.
Senior lawyer Hamid Khan revealed this information during a media interaction outside Adiala Jail, stating that the decision to field candidates in all constituencies came in response to directives from the PTI chairman.
Hamid Khan's statement followed a meeting with the PTI chairman at Adiala Jail, where both leaders discussed the current political landscape. Expressing his concerns, Hamid Khan criticized what he perceived as unequal treatment of the PTI compared to other political parties, which he claimed were enjoying greater freedom to conduct their political activities. He called for a level playing field for all political parties.5
Regarding the cipher case, Hamid Khan described it as a fabricated matter lacking sufficient evidence, advocating for an open trial. He also mentioned that a petition was pending in the Supreme Court, seeking the freedom for political campaigns to be conducted without hindrance.
