Govt taking steps to strengthen health sector in coordination with provinces: Dr. Nadeem
The Caretaker Minister for Health says health facilities are being refurbished to reinforce this sector.


Islamabad: Caretaker Minister for Health Dr. Nadeem Jan on Friday said that the government taking utmost measures to strengthen health sector in coordination with provinces.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad today, he said health facilities are being refurbished to reinforce this sector.
Acknowledging the services and contribution of WHO for the eradication of Polio from Pakistan, he appreciated the world organization for supporting our health sector.
The Minister said efforts are afoot to digitalize country's entire health sector at primary, secondary and tertiary level. Dr. Nadeem Jan said for this purpose he is already in negotiations with USAID, British government and many other countries to pump their resources into this sector.
