Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan demanded to put pressure on the US to stop the Israeli aggression in Gaza.
According to Arab media, Tayyip Erdogan said in a statement that there will be no agreement until Washington recognizes that Gaza is part of Palestine.
Tayyip Erdogan state: “We should talk to Egypt and the Gulf countries and put pressure on America to increase pressure on Israel while the West should also pressurize Israel, this is the only way for us to reach a ceasefire”.
The President of Turkey added that in this matter, a very important country needs to connect with US, which has influence in Israel.
Tayyip Erdogan refused to call US President Joe Biden, saying “Antony Blanken has been in Turkey and I think Joe Biden should host us in this matter, it would not be appropriate for me to telephone him,” he said.
