Pakistan Army orders two million doses of Sputnik V to help country fight coronavirus
Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Army has ordered two million doses of coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V to help country fight the deadly virus.

According to details, the armed forces are standing by the people in these challenging times and in a recent move the Pakistan Army has ordered two million doses of Russian vaccine to be administered to the people of Pakistan.
The first consignment of 200,000 doses are all set to be arrived in Pakistan. An aircraft of Pakistan Air Force will leave Abu Dhabi for Pakistan shortly carrying the first shipment of doses.
Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 2,566 cases of coronavirus were reported while 135 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 19,752.
The total number of cases has reached 882,928.
As many as 795, 511 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,361 critical cases.
