Islamabad: In a recent development, the federal government has declared a significant reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
According to an official notification from the Federal Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol is set to decrease by Rs. 2.04 per liter, bringing the new rate to Rs. 281.34 per liter. The diesel prices are witnessing a substantial drop of Rs. 6.47 per liter, with the revised cost standing at Rs. 296.71 per liter.
The updated prices for these petroleum products are scheduled to come into effect starting midnight tonight at 12 o'clock.
