Islamabad: The Sindh government filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against the decision to stop the trial of civilians in military courts.
According to the details, the Sindh government filed a petition in the Supreme Court through the Advocate General, in which the decision to stop the trial of civilians in military courts has been declared null and void, and it has been requested to suspend the order of Supreme Court.
It has been stated in the petition filed by the Sindh government that the trial of those accused of attacks on military installations should be done in military courts. The Supreme Court did not properly review the law and facts.
The Sindh government also requested to restore the invalid provisions of the Army Act and the Official Secrets Act.
It is pertinent to note that earlier on October 23, the Supreme Court declared the trial of civilians in the military courts null and void.
