The statements of five witnesses of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) were to be recorded today.


Rawalpindi: The hearing of the cypher case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi was conducted in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi has been adjourned till November 21 without any proceeding.
According to the details, statements of five witnesses of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) were to be recorded today in the cypher case, however the hearing was adjourned without any proceeding.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi's lawyer Barrister Taimur Malik, wife Mehreen Qureshi and daughter Mehr Bano reached Adiala Jail.
While former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan, Uzma Khanum and wife Bushra Bibi also reached Adiala Jail.
The FIA Special Prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi told the media that hearing has been postponed following prohibition order of Islamabad High Court (IHC) and prosecution presented no witnesses.
It is pertinent to note that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan is imprisoned in Adiala Jail in the cypher case.
