Lahore ranks first among world’s most polluted cities

Lahore: Among the most polluted cities in the world today (Saturday), Lahore stands first in the list.
According to the details, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has imposed smart lockdown in the 10 districts of Punjab due to smog.
There will be a smart lockdown in Lahore, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Kasur and Gujranwala as well as in Gujarat, Sialkot, Narowal, Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin under which movement will be restricted.
According to the officials, all public and private schools, colleges and universities will remain closed in these 10 districts.
Apart from this, markets, shops, gyms, cinemas and offices will be operational after three in the afternoon.
