Washington DC: United States President Joe Biden said that the ceasefire in Gaza was made possible by US efforts.
In one of his statements, the American president stated: “I am happy that 13 Israelis have been released and reached their loved ones,” adding that the attempt was to release more than 50 Israelis in the first phase.
The US president said that there are women are among the 13 Israeli hostages released on Friday.
Joe Biden further stated that the leaders of the region were spoken to on the phone for a ceasefire. The US continued to push for a ceasefire so that the Israelis could be released.
