The price of petrol has not been increased or decreased for the next 15 days.
Lahore: The caretaker federal government has decided to keep the price of petrol unchanged while reducing the price of diesel, kerosene and light diesel oil.
The Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar approved the change in the prices of petroleum products for which the notification has also been issued by the Ministry of Finance.
The price of petrol has not been increased or decreased for the next 15 days, however it has been decided to reduce the price of diesel, kerosene and light diesel.
According to the notification of the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol remains at Rs281.34 per liter while the price of diesel has been reduced by Rs7 per liter after which the new price of diesel has become Rs289.71 per liter.
The notification stated the reduction in the price of kerosene oil by Rs3.82 per liter while reduction in the price of light diesel oil by Rs4.52 per liter has been approved.
The new price of kerosene oil has been fixed at Rs201.16 per liter, while the new price of light diesel oil has been fixed at Rs175.93 per liter.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the new prices of petroleum products have been applied from December 1.
