Lahore: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested 14 suspected terrorists while conducting operations in various cities of Punjab.
According to CTD officials, 14 terrorists were arrested during the Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) which was conducted in Lahore, Khushab, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, TT Singh, Gujarat and Sahiwal.
The CTD spokesman added that the main commander of the banned organization was arrested from Lahore and explosives, three hand grenades, detonator, 15 safety fuses, Prima Card, mobile phone and cash were recovered from his possession.
CTD officials told that the arrested terrorists were planning to attack important installations.
