Lahore: The provincial capital Lahore has again been ranked the number one among the most polluted cities in the world.
According to the details, the number of particulate meters was recorded at 211 before 8:00am today (Thursday), due to which the air quality of the city is extremely hazardous to health. While the highway from Burhan to Swabi has been closed for traffic due to heavy fog.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) of Lahore is 229, the smog in the city and its surroundings could not be controlled.

On the other hand, Karachi is the fifth most polluted city in the world.
Medical experts in Lahore have instructed citizens to wear masks when leaving their homes.
