Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir said that the nation is proud of the performance of the armed forces.


Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir Thursday said that success is the destiny of Pakistan.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir visited Peshawar where he was briefed about the overall security situation and counter-terrorism operations.
The ISPR stated that Army Chief was also briefed on the progress of repatriation of illegal foreigners and the progress of socio-economic development in the newly merged districts.
Asim Munir also met the officers and men who had displayed bravery in various anti-terrorism operations and appreciated their exemplary performance.
On this occasion, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir said that the nation is proud of the performance of the armed forces. “Pakistan Army will continue to perform the duty of protecting the motherland till the last drop of blood”.
The Army Chief also addressed the participants of the national workshop held for the first time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
