Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan has denounced the election schedule circulating on social media as fake, making it clear that no official schedule has been issued so far.
A spokesperson for the commission voiced concern over the dissemination of false information about elections through various media channels. The spokesperson specifically pointed out that the statement on page 10 of the Daily Jang is misleading.
The spokesperson clarified that the commission has not conducted any consultations on petitions submitted to them.

He further stated that any statement not attributed to the Election Commission's official spokesperson should be disregarded and should not be considered as the commission's policy statement.
