Islamabad: Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani has said Pakistan calls for sustained and coherent global responses to promote a culture of peace.
In his message on the occasion of the International Day of Human Rights, he said festering and unresolved conflicts remain the most significant impediment to realizing the lofty ideals of freedom, justice, and equity.

The Minister said Pakistan stands firmly in solidarity with the people of the Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and occupied Palestine. He said the occupying powers' brazen disregard for international human rights law and international humanitarian law can never suppress the occupied people's aspirations for liberty and self-determination.
He said Pakistan will continue to extend moral, diplomatic and political support to the valiant resistance of the Kashmiri and Palestinian peoples against occupation and for the realization of their right to self-determination.
