Officials said that nine terrorists were arrested in these various operations.


Lahore: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab conducted operations in different cities of the province and arrested nine terrorists.
According to CTD spokesman, Intelligence-Based Operations (IBO) were conducted in Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Sialkot, Hafizabad and Lahore.
Officials said that nine terrorists were arrested in these various operations, while two operatives who provided financial support to the banned organization were also arrested from Lahore, from which explosives, two hand grenades, a YD bomb, mobile phones and cash were recovered.
The CTD spokesperson stated that the terrorists were identified as Abdul Rahman, Abdul Waheed, Azeem, Zaman, Sufyan, Siddique, Sajjad Jatt, Imran Ali and Umar Farooq who were planning the attack in different cities.
