Islamabad: The District and Sessions Court Islamabad Tuesday extended the interim bails of founder Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and his wife and Bushra Bibi.

According to the details, Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of District and Sessions Court Islamabad heard the case on a bail appeal Bushra Bibi and six of Imran Khan.

The former first lady Bushra Bibi appeared in the session court along with her legal team.

During the hearing, the lawyer of PTI told the court that Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) had approved three appeals of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The judge asked on what basis the ATC approved the bail pleas of founder PTI.

PTI's lawyer said that founder PTI was not even present at the crime scene, the court has called for the report for his court production.

The judge replied that where is the production report? Why is the prosecutor not in the courtroom?

Police is deliberately not wanting to produce Imran Khan in the court, stated the lawyer.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra told the PTI lawyers, ‘You have set the trend that the court would be set up wherever you were’.

Judge Tahir Abbas said: “I ask for a report to be presented in the court, we will decide where the hearing will take place by the next date”. He also inquired about the status of Bushra Bibi's plea filed in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).

The lawyer said that the report on Bushra Bibi's audio leaks is pending in the Islamabad High Court.

Later, the court extended PTI founder's interim bail till December 19, while Bushra Bibi's bail has been extended till January 2.
