FIA arrests human trafficker, several passports recovered
The arrested accused was running an agency in the name of ‘Ajawa Travel’ without a license.
Karachi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested the accused involved in human trafficking during a successful operation in Karachi.
According to the spokesperson of FIA, the anti-human trafficking circle is conducting its crackdown against human traffickers and during this, one of the accused has been arrested in Circle Bahadurabad.
The FIA spokesman said that the arrested accused during the operation has been identified as Hamza Sohail, from whom several passports were also recovered.
The arrested accused was running an agency in the name of ‘Ajawa Travel’ without a license and was receiving huge sums of money by pretending to provide employment to common people. While the accused had received passports from several citizens in the name of sending them to foreign countries.
The spokesperson further said that 13 passports, 12 chequebooks, laptops and other documents have also been recovered from the accused.
