Shadab Khan was injured while playing against Sialkot at UBL Sports Complex Karachi on December 3.

Lahore: Pakistani team all-rounder Shadab Khan has been ruled out of New Zealand tour.
According to details, Shadab Khan is suffering from a foot injury and it will take four more weeks for his injury to heal.
Shadab Khan was injured while playing against Sialkot at UBL Sports Complex Karachi on December 3. He sprained his leg while fielding in the National T20 match in Karachi after which the all-rounder was carried out of the ground on his back, a video revealed.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was also not happy as to why the injured player was carried on the shoulder by fellow cricketers instead of on a stretcher, while all the medical facilities were there.
In the absence of Shadab Khan who was Rawalpindi's captain in the T20, the leadership was led by all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz.
It is pertinent to note that Pakistan team will play five T20 matches in New Zealand in January 2024 and the first match will be played on January 12 in Auckland.
