PTI asks ECP to promptly assign ‘bat’ symbol for upcoming general elections
The PTI core committee asserts that the ECP lacks constitutional grounds to withhold the election symbol from PTI after the intra-party elections.

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday urged the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to promptly assign the 'bat' symbol for the upcoming general polls in 2024.
The PTI core committee asserted that the ECP lacks constitutional grounds to withhold the election symbol from PTI after the intra-party elections.
The committee expressed contentment with the successful virtual public gathering that drew millions of participants from across the globe.
Emphasizing that the virtual event reflected the potential outcomes of the upcoming general elections, the PTI core committee formally inaugurated its election campaign through this online meeting.
PTI declared its intention to field candidates on all National Assembly (NA) and Provincial Assembly (PA) seats nationwide, anticipating a significant impact on the political landscape on February 8. The core committee also extended a warm welcome to Latif Khosa for joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
