Covid-19: Pakistan’s death toll crosses 20,000 mark with 102 new fatalities
Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 3,070 cases of coronavirus were reported while 102 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 20,089.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 893,461.
As many as 810,143 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,424 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 332,000 in the province with 9,704 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 304,571 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,869.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 128,561 in the province with 3,875 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 24,318 confirmed cases while 270 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 18,547 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 523. On the other hand, there are 5,454 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 80,010 cases in the capital city while 741 people have lost their lives.
