ECC approves Rs4b for various ministries, divisions for current fiscal year
The forum also allows over three point five billion rupees for the Federal Directorate of Immunization.


Islamabad: The Economic Coordination Committee has approved around four billion rupees in favour of various ministries and divisions for current fiscal year.
The ECC, which met in Islamabad today with Caretaker Finance Minister Dr. Shamshad Akhtar in the chair, approved two hundred and fifty million rupees for up gradation, technical enhancement and field activities of Intelligence Bureau.
The forum also allowed over three point five billion rupees for the Federal Directorate of Immunization.

It nodded release of 100 million rupees for Pakistan's Hockey team to participate in international events and other sports promotion activities.
This grant would also be utilized for Tennis Davis Cup with India and other mind games like scrabble and chess.
Besides, the ECC approved a mechanism for sale of imported urea at a basket price along with locally manufactured urea to ensure reasonable price for the fertilizer.
