Pakistan Jems and Jewelers Association says the price of gold per tola reached Rs. 216,500, reflecting a surge in the market.
Karachi: The cost of gold witnessed a substantial increase of Rs. 200 per tola in the country, the All Pakistan Jems and Jewelers Association said on Friday.
As per the latest figures, the price of gold per tola reached Rs. 216,500, reflecting a surge in the market. Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold has risen by Rs. 172, now standing at Rs. 185,614.
The Association further reported that in the global market, the price of gold per ounce has experienced a $4 increment, reaching $2,036.
However, when factoring in a $20 premium in Pakistan, the international gold price translates to $256 per ounce within the country.
