Karachi: The price of gold per tola in the country on Saturday witnessed a significant increase of 950 rupees.
Following this surge, the current rate for one tola of gold stands at 217,450 rupees. The cost of 10 grams of gold has also experienced a rise, reaching 186,428 rupees with an additional 814 rupees.
Globally, the price of gold has escalated by 12 dollars, marking a new value of 2048 dollars per ounce. In Pakistan, factoring in a premium of 20 dollars over the global rate, the local price for one ounce of gold is now 2068 dollars.
